Energy Rangers star Austin St John has been billed for wire fraud conspiracy.

The actor, who performed Crimson Energy Ranger Jason Lee Scott in the Nineties children’s sequence, was arrested on Wednesday (18 Might), according to the Division of Justice.

St John – true title Jason Lawrence Geiger – was 1 of 18 men and women accused of fraudulently obtaining at least $3.5m (£2.8m) from the Little Company Association’s Paycheck Safety Plan.

The defendants are accused of applying for smaller small business financial loans applying falsified files and keeping the funds for private investing.
