Acadian Capital Research, a Lafayette-based asset research firm, has merged with Kemp Family Office Services and Cypress Financial Solutions, both of Baton Rouge, to form a multifamily office and private management firm.

The merged company is named Acadian Capital Group and will provide an institutional approach to private markets and family wealth. It will offer a variety of services, including family office governance, relationship management, due diligence services as well as private company acquisition, management and support services.

“We’ve been working on this merger for quite some time, and we’re extremely fortunate to finally announce that we’re joining forces with Kemp Family Office Services and Cypress Financial Solutions,” said Kyle “Skip” Boudreaux, managing partner and managing director of private market research at Acadian Capital Group. “The ability for all sides of the three-legged stool to support each other and grow together are enormous, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds.”

Cypress Financial Solutions offered accounting, bookkeeping, HR, general administration, special projects and general operation services for companies.

The Ritz-Carlton gets $15 million renovation

The Ritz-Carlton New Orleans has completed a $15 million renovation of its 76 Maison Orleans Club guest rooms and suites.

The rooms and suites serve as a “hotel within a hotel,” offering a smaller, more exclusive stay along with the hotel’s personalized service.

The Maison Orleans renovation caps off a “redeaux” of the 527-room hotel, that started in 2019. The work also involved updating the 25,000-square-foot spa.

The hotel occupies the former Maison Blanche building at 921 Canal St., an iconic Beaux-Arts structure built in 1908. The Ritz-Carlton opened inside the historic property in 2000.
