Georgia woman pleads guilty to fraud with Hampton co-conspirators

A spokesperson for the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia claimed Mitchum and co-conspirators Malik Mitchum, 26, and Jenna Mitchum, 25, submitted dozens of fraudulent applications for dollars. They have also pleaded responsible to the scheme.

These loans have been meant to help modest organizations that had been struggling from pandemic-associated hardships. The attorney’s place of work did not say which corporations belonged to the Mitchums, but mentioned they had been “falsely represented” to be struggling.

The spokesperson stated Nikki Mitchum is tied to 17 personal loan applications from other persons that led to about $204,000 in kickbacks to her companies. She’s also connected to “supposed fraud loss” of $4 million, but that doesn’t suggest the govt really granted her all that cash.
