Cordero’s restaurant team, which features sons Nick and Anthony, has signed a 20-year lease at 3865 Wilson Blvd. for Carbonara: Outdated Faculty Italian & Wine Bar. The 4,800-sq.-foot indoor and out of doors cafe will open up in July 2023.

Cordero, whose other restaurants include things like Barley Mac, Rockwood, Bronson Bier Hall, Don Tito and Taco Rock, has put collectively a menu for Carbonara focused on southern Italian cuisine, with every thing created in-home, which include new pasta each day.

The restaurant plans to provide Sicilian pizzas, baked Italian dishes like Eggplant Rollatini Parmigiana, veal and seafood dishes. Quintessential old planet Italian cafe dishes will consist of carpaccio, Linguini Carinale, Hen Cacciatore, and stuffed Cannoli.

It will also have a large selection of Italian wines.

The big cafe designs to consider more than area on the corner of Wilson and N. Pollard Road, with adequate storefront house for a patio with two Alfresco bars. Inside of, with rustic Italian design, there is an entry rotunda, massive bar, round booths and banquets.

“I am ecstatic to relive my early many years of coaching as an Italian chef with Carbonara and work with my sons on this challenge,” Cordero reported. “My new principle will offer scrumptious outdated-university Italian delicacies with a twist in which practically nothing is keep-acquired and every thing is created from scratch.”

Earlier this year, Cordero expanded his Taco Rock cafe business with two extra destinations.
