AXA XL adds more underwriting talent to cyber insurance business in North America

NEW YORK, Aug. 18, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — AXA XL Coverage is welcoming 3 new colleagues to its Cyber and Technological innovation Mistakes & Omission (E&O) insurance plan organization in North The united states — Deuayne Crawford as Head of Cyber for the Northeast in New York Marisa Vero as Senior Underwriter in Los Angeles and Hannah Baker as Underwriter in St. Paul, Minnesota.

According to AXA XL’s Head of Cyber and Tech E&O Jeremy Gittler, “The demand from customers for cyber insurance policies is showing no indicators of cooling down. Mr. Crawford assumes the overall underwriting management duties in the Northeast, the biggest region for AXA XL’s Cyber company. He joins from Ironshore, where he was responsible for controlling underwriting for cyber, media, technologies and miscellaneous expert legal responsibility insurance policies for mid-cap and huge-cap clients. Mr. Crawford attained his undergraduate diploma from Binghamton University and his Master of Science in Insurance Administration from Boston University. He retains CPCU (Constitution Assets Casualty Underwriter) and RPLU+ (Registered Experienced Liability Underwriter+) designations.

Ms. Vero joins AXA XL’s West Zone from Zurich North America, where she worked as a senior administration liability underwriter, offering D&O, Work Tactics, Fiduciary, Crime, and Kidnap and Ransom options. She has also held underwriting positions at Chubb and Hiscox.  Ms. Vero is a graduate of the College at Buffalo.

Ms. Baker joins AXA XL to assistance the Cyber and Tech E&O insurance needs of brokers and shoppers in the course of AXA XL’s Central Zone. Ms. Baker began her insurance policies occupation at Marsh, and most just lately served as a Senior Account Underwriter at Travelers. She is a graduate of St. Cloud Condition University.
