Queen Elizabeth—not King Charles II—will remain on Canadian money
Canada, a former British colony, has a new head of point out. But the experience of Queen Elizabeth II will continue on to surface on its currency.
Elizabeth’s picture is highlighted on the backs of cash and on plastic-based C$20 ($15.28) bank notes that were to start with launched in 2011. These costs will stay in circulation, and the central bank claimed it’s up to Key Minister Justin Trudeau’s authorities to determine if new notes will function the image of her successor, King Charles III.

The queen died peacefully at age 96 at her estate in Balmoral, Scotland, before Thursday. Canadian Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland’s workplace did not have an instant remark on the layout of future currency.
